Our approach
Why we use no preservatives
Bottled juice that lasts months on a shelf has been treated - heated hard, or dosed with preservatives, or both. Both approaches work. Both change what you are drinking.
We chose the other path: press it fresh, chill it, get it to you quickly, and let it be what it is.
What that means for you:
You get real juice. The taste changes slightly from week to week because fruit changes from week to week. A watermelon in one season is sweeter than the same watermelon in another. We do not correct for that with sugar.
It does not last forever. Our juices are at their best within days, not months. Keep them cold, and freeze what you cannot drink soon.
It has to be made to order. This is why we press after you order rather than before, and why dispatch takes 24-72 working hours instead of going out the same hour.
It separates and settles. Layers in the bottle mean nothing has been added to hold it together. Shake and pour.
If you have ever wondered why fresh juice costs more than the long-life kind, this is the answer: the cost is the fruit and the speed, not the packaging.
