Storage

Storing your juice properly

Fresh juice with nothing added to preserve it needs a little care. Four simple rules cover it. 1. Straight into the fridge. The moment your box arrives, move the bottles into the coldest part of your fridge. Do not leave the box in a hot car or on a sunny counter. 2. Keep them upright. Bottles stand up, caps sealed. Lying them down puts pressure on the seal. 3. Shake before you pour. Natural juice separates - that is a good sign, not a fault. A firm shake brings it back together. 4. Drink it while it is happy. Kept properly chilled, our fruit and vegetable juices are at their best for about three to five days. The wellness blends keep a little longer. The Immune Booster Shot is strongest in the first few days. Can I freeze it? Yes. Freezing pauses the juice and is the best way to keep a pack longer. Leave a little space in the bottle for expansion, freeze it upright, and thaw it in the fridge overnight rather than on the counter. Expect a slight change in texture - the taste holds up well. Signs it is past its best: the smell turns sharp or fizzy, the cap bulges, or the colour goes dull and muddy. When in doubt, do not drink it - message us and we will make it right.
